How to Recover Data from Corrupt VMDK Files?

Launch Aryson VMDK Recovery software. Click Add File(s) button on the task bar to add VMDK file.

Browse corrupt VMDK file - If you know the location of your VMDK files, simply click the Browse button and select the corrupt VMDK file. Or if you don't know the location, click the Search button.

Now click the Browse button to define a location where you think the VMDK files are stored.

Define any location in the system directory. Click OK.

The defined location will be listed in the edit box. Click the Search icon to start the searching operation.

Within a few seconds, the searching operation will be completed. You can see the VMDK files in the list.

Select the VMDK file you want to repair, and click OK.

Now select the recovery settings. First start with selecting the recovery modes: Standard, Advanced or Deep. Also, define Auto-detect and Non-English characters recovery options.

Click OK to start the scanning process.

Within a few seconds, the saving process will be completed. ClickOK.
