App-specific password retains the advanced security level to ensure your Apple ID password won’t be collected or saved by any third-party apps you might use.

STEP 1

Login with your Apple id. (Click here to visit the login page of iCloud)

STEP 2

From the homepage of iCloud account, click on the Account Setting option. OR Click on your name from the right side of the screen and select the Account setting option.

STEP 3

After that, click on the Manage option under Apple ID.

STEP 4

Sign In again with the Apple id to verify the account.

STEP 5

From the account manage page, click on the App-specific Passwords.

STEP 6

Here, tap the option Generate an app specific passwords.

STEP 7

Enter the app name and click the Create button.

STEP 8

At last, you can view the 16 letter app specific password. Tap Done.
