IMAP Backup Tool Working Details

The Working Details of Aryson IMAP Backup Tool are very helpful for the smooth functioning of the software to back up or migrate emails.

  1. The Software requires the User ID, Password, Port Number and Host ID to run and you can even import all these details in a CSV File for bulk IMAP Accounts Backup.
  2. If you are taking Email Backup of Gmail, Zoho, Hotmail, Yandex, AOL or Yahoo Mail through the Aryson IMAP Backup tool then authenticate login through a third-party password.
    Note-* You can't backup Yahoo and AOL Emails if you don't authenticate a third-party password.
  3. You won't need any third-party password to backup G Suite, GoDaddy, Amazon Workmail, and Hostgator emails to any file format.
    Note-* You can take the backup using your existing User ID and Password for the G Suite, GoDaddy, Amazon Workmail, and Hostgator accounts
  4. Make Sure your IMAP Settings are enabled before starting the backup or migration process for the added Email Addresses/Accounts.
  5. When you backup Emails through Aryson IMAP Backup Tool, you will need to provide the Port No. and Host Name of the Respective Email Clients/Accounts/Address with User ID and Password. Some of the Email Client’s Port No. and Host Name are given below:-

  1. The Software does not support iCloud ID and Email Addresses.. In order to take a backup of your iCloud Account, try the Aryson iCloud Email Backup Tool.
  2. ProtonMail Account User ID/Address is only supported when your IMAP Setting is enabled.
  3. Suppose your Email Address/Account contains Promotional and Security emailsthen the software helps you download them as well. But the date that appears for those emails is according to the server from where the emails are generated.
  4. The software can back up only emails with attachments from your Account.
    Note:- You must enable the IMAP option before starting the backup process.
