For exporting all the emails of Gmail to an Outlook email client, you do need the Outlook environment setup on your system. Then, as per your operating system follow the steps:

1. Launch Outlook on your system and click on File > Add Account.
2. Enter the Gmail Profile email address to import and click on the Connect button.
3. Now, enter the password on the Gmail Verification window and hit Sign in.
4. If you have activated the 2-step authentication then complete that too.
5. Now, allow all the permissions for the Google account.
6. Soon, Outlook will add your Gmail Account. Click on the Done button.

For macOS: Export Emails from Gmail to PST

Follow the Steps to Export Gmail Emails into PST on macOS

1. Open Outlook > Preferences > Accounts.
2. Click on the (+) sign and then New Account.
3. Enter your Email Address > Continue.
4. Give the Password > Add Account.
5. Click on the Continue button.
6. Now, Sign-in to your Gmail account within Outlook.
7. Select the Account to sign-in and provide the password.
8. A new Google Account Permission Window will appear, click on the Allow button.
9.  Now, open Microsoft Outlook and select Done to finish the configuration.

Now, Follow the steps to export Gmail mailbox to PST for both Windows and Mac:

1. After the whole configuration, Click on the File>Open & Export.
   
2. Click on Import/Export.
   
3. Select export to a file then hit the Next button.
   
4. Select Outlook Data File(.pst) then press the Next button.
5. Opt for the Inbox folders to export into PST file.
   
6. Provide the output path and hit the Finish button.
   

The above method can be implemented when you just want to import inbox to the PST file because this method limits to export just the inbox of Gmail profile. To export Gmail to PST with all the content of the mailbox like contacts, emails, calendars, tasks, etc the below method will be the best choice.

For Exporting Gmail mailbox to the Outlook PST all you need to do is, to follow the below steps:

1. Download and launch the utility. Then Login to your Gmail Profile.
   
2. Select the category, saving location, and saving format as PST.
   
3. Choose the folders to export and provide the date range.
   
4. Wait for the completion of the export process and then exit.
