Software Working Process

Follow the Steps to identify and remove the duplicate files from your system.

Step 1: Install and launch the Aryson Duplicate File Finder & Remover on your System.

Step 2: Choose the Photos option to proceed further and remove duplicates from the Photos

Step 3: Either you can Drag and Drop the Duplicate Folder or tap on the Click Here option and select a specific folder from your system.

Step 4: Here is the list of the selected folders. You can specify the folder you want to search for similar photos.

Step 5: You can go through the scan option or Scan Whole Computer accordingly.

Step 6: Click on the Scan option and specify the Minimum photo size in MB or KB. Also, select the Similarity Threshold on the basis of the given drop-down.

Step 7: After configuration of scan options, click Start Scan to initiate the scanning process.

Step 8: Now, it shows the scanning process in real time with File scanned and Time elapsed.

Step 9: Mention the similarity percentage. It will show all groups and the size of the file.

Step 10: Choose from the given options:

Refresh: To refresh the complete page.
Unmark All: Option to unmark selected items.
Auto Mark: You can individually mark specific files.

Step 11: Tap on the Move Selected button and choose an action for the selected image:

Move to the Recycle Bin
Move to Folder
Permanently Delete

Step 12: Select any of the given options from the drop-down list and click on the OK button.

Step 1: Download and open the Aryson Duplicate File Finder and Remover Tool and pick the Files option.

Step 2: You can either drag and drop the folder containing duplicates or use the “Click Here” button to browse and select a specific folder from your computer.

Step 3: With the selected folder list, it provides the different criteria to scan duplicate files:

All Files: Scans for duplicate files of every type in the selected folder or drive.
Custom File Scan: Lets you choose specific file types to scan for duplicates.
Extension-Based Scan: Finds duplicate files based on their extensions, like .jpg, .pdf, or .docx.

Step 4: If you choose Custom File Scan, then you can scan it from Documents, Videos, Music, Images, and Archive.

Step 5: Mark Extension-Based Scan, and it will show you a list of file extensions. Choose specific one and click OK.

Step 6: It now displays the scanning progress live, showing the number of files scanned and the time taken.

Step 7: From the scanned duplicate file, you can Auto Remove them or View the Detailed Results.

Step 8: Here, you can navigate to the panel accordingly: All, Music, Video, Images, Documents, Archive & Others.

Step 9: Select Duplicates on the basis of:

Retain Oldest Files(Select Older Files)
Retain Newest Files( Select Newest Files)
Clear all Selections

Step 10: Pick any specific Duplicate Selection Strategy and click on the Apply button.

Step 11: Now, Select the Action according to your preference:

Permanently Delete: Erases the selected duplicate files from your system.
Move to Bin: Sends the duplicate files to the Recycle Bin so you can restore them if needed.
Move to the Folder: Transfers the duplicate files to a specific folder for review or backup.
