  • Then Click on the Re-Test Button.
  • Once you enter all the information successfully, you must choose the Create a New Account option.

  • Open MS Outlook on your PC and go to the File menu present on the top-left corner of the page.
  • Then click on the Add Account option and a dialogue box will appear in front of you.
  • In the dialogue box, you will have to choose the Manually Configure Server Settings or Additional Server Types option and then click on the Next Button.
  • Now click on the Internet Email option and then on the Next button to proceed.
  • Enter your name, email address, and password in the box.
  • Choose the IMAP option in the Account Type option.
  • Now type imap.<servername>.com and smtp.<servername>.com and go to the More Settings option.
  • Open the Outgoing Server and select the My Outgoing Server option and then click on the Use Same Settings as My Incoming Server option.
  • Now enter the 993 port number under the Incoming Server Port and select This Server Requires an Encrypted Connection Option.
  • Then enter the 587 port number for the outgoing server and click the OK button to exit the dialog box.
  • To check the account setting, Click on the Test Account setting option.
  • You will get a message “your account setting are correct” and then click on the Next Button.
  • Finally, all the thunderbird emails will be migrated to your Outlook Account.

Export Thunderbird Local Folders to Outlook through Drag and Drop Method

  • Launch Mozilla Thunderbird on your PC or Laptop.
  • Then open the messages or folders that you want to export from Thunderbird to Outlook.
  • Then make a right-click on the selected messages and choose the Save As option.
  • Now click on the Select Folder option and export the local folders.
  • Then open the MS Outlook Program on the same PC or Laptop.
  • Go to the Menu and choose the New Folder option.
  • Rename the folder and then click on the OK button.
  • Select the New Folder you have created and choose all the emails you have recently exported from Thunderbird.
  • Click and drag all the emails to MS Outlook.
  • Finally, all the thunderbird local folders with emails will be exported to MS Outlook.
